Waves Platform and AIFC sign a cooperation agreement
In Davos, the Waves Blockchian Platform and the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) have signed a business partnership agreement.
The cooperation is aimed at creating an efficient financial ecosystem with the integration of innovative blockchain technologies.
Waves Platform is an internationally recognized blockchain platform that develops unconventional solutions and strategies designed for investors, businesses and organizations. is engaged in trading and cryptocurrency assets exchange and emission. The platform’s special feature is its usability and focus on the general availability. In 2016, Waves earned 16 million dollars during an ICO campaign.
Аsel Zhiyenbayeva, AIFC’s Chief Digital Officer, believes that the cooperation with Waves will allow the financial center to encourage Kazakh startupers in developing their projects using new technologies.
The Astana International Financial Centre was initiated by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in order to establish the largest center for providing financial services on a worldwide basis.
AIFC’s key goal is to create comfortable conditions for foreign capital infusion in the economy of Kazakhstan. Astana International Financial Centre will be responsible for the development of the Russian securities market and its integration into international markets as well as Islamic financing.
