Kazakhstan to develop cryptocurrency, provided with real capital
Kazakhstan is trying to become a leader in the digital currency industry. A practical solution along the way was a memorandum on joint activities of the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) and the investment company EXANTE.
The document includes the launch of the cryptocurrency on the basis of the Stasis fintech platform. This means that the crypto asset will be provided with classical financing instruments with systematic state support.
Experts predict that the monetization of the digital currency will be within 2-3 billion euros.
Grigoriy Klumov, CEO at Stasis, said that this new asset guarantees the security of the cryptocurrency market, as it happens with the nationwide securities in the US in relation to the global stock market.
Blockchain and cryptocurrency are rapidly developing in the economies of many countries. Therefore, the regulators of the financial market create optimal conditions for the development of financial companies. According to Kairat Kelimbetov, the head of AIFC, the organization can become a unique financial hub for the blockchain industry.
EXANTE specialists also plan to develop the Act of AIFC on the crypto assets market regulation and fintech ecosystems development support.
