Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and crypto platform Blockchair will enter into partnership, aiming to develop non-cash economy in Kazakhstan and add cryptocurrencies to the national financial turnover. It has been reported by Kazinform International News Agency.
Upon signing the agreement, parties were represented by the head of AIFC Nurlan Kussainov and founders of Blockchair Edige Davletgaliev and Nikita Zhavoronkov. According to agreement terms, AIFC and Blockchair will jointly create a favorable environment for the adoption of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies in Kazakhstan.
Organizations believe that their collaboration will positively influence the infrastructure of the fintech market in Kazakhstan. AIFC sets a long-run objective to become a major fintech hub in Central Asia and the CIS countries and thus to attract more investors to the development and expansion of financial technologies in Kazakhstan.
Representative of Blockchair has said that AIFC is an extremely important platform that opens up opportunities for collaboration with the largest financial centers of the world. He has noted that Blockchair is glad to participate in the establishment of tight connections between the traditional financial system and cryptocurrency market.
